#34 years

So today was our 34 wedding anniversary... wow seems so long ago that I was a young bride. Couples were married much younger then. It was not uncommon to be married at 20 , kids in the 2nd year. Now , well its just different. I can t imagine my daughter married at 21 , seems too young. So whats different ? Wasn't I young? Things just are...are they better , is it better choices, getting established first. These are all good reasons to put things off and be choosier in finding a mate. Are people too choosy , the older you get them more you like things done your own way. Its one of those things that there is no right or wrong answer.For me, I was ready . We worked through the tough times , our own personal struggles. But we also kinda grew up together , after all we were 21 and 23.There was lots of laughter and our family s had the same type of values.To accept each other for our imperfections and always be able to laugh., these things are important. So would i do it differently..............no ,the years have flown by. I do wish that sometimes I could go back just for a day , maybe to feel young and silly. But maybe not, I can feel older(not that old) and silly. I love every thing about my life all the experiences have brought me where I am today. And yes I still love the old fart .. I hope we make another 34 years.  <3
